It looks like we will have a new range to play on next year.
Should give us some new options. It will also be good because it is a match only range, that way the locals don't have the advantage.

I got my info from Bob Russo. You can ask him about it. Hopefully he gives you the same info. Rules change day to day there.

Hell they change hourly depending on whos bitching at you.

I will be there. I may or may not have a rifle to shoot, so if its not done by then ill help out running things.

I'm not a Desert Sportsmen's member, and I really can't tell from Google Earth which one is Range 4 is... More clues, please.

Are we still limited to 500 meters or so? Reading the wind makes me scare those 2-liter soda jugs at 500 yards a few times before I actually kill one.

Matt--the round count is typically bring 60, and if you're good you won't use them all. Maybe. Last I heard. Depends on whether there's a mover and whether that and/or other stages are timed with number of hits obtained being limited by the shooter. Still on a load 5 rounds limit as far as I know.

It's been more than a year for me, so disregard anything above that LVShooter corrects me on.

Still wondering which one is Range 4. I really don't like wandering around that place. Range supervision in my experience is grouchy sometimes.

Lvcatfish will not be there to help run the match or do the scoring math. So we will need some help. We need 2 honest volunteers that have completed 3rd grade math to add up the scores while we are picking up the targets. Any takers? Hugh and Gary are you there. You guys can add, right?

Range 4 will be a big help, it will allow for more shooters and there will be an opportunity to have many various distances to at least 400 yards if not a little farther. I know Russo is trying.
