Lot more replays than I thought. Right now I'm building a 6.5x284. And that's what I'll be reloading for. I'm just waiting on my barreled action to come in. I've been shooting for a while but this is my first rifle. I really want to get this right the first time from brake in, building loads. Keeping data!!! All of it.

what day of the week is the comp? i also went with a schneider barrel i spoke with gary schneider he is shooting a 6.5 284 he says i can get about 2500rd after a re-crown at 1500. but ya i know its nothing like the 6.5 creed. Now i know why there are NO 6.5 bergers in vegas everyone in sin city shoots a 6.5.
i got my email yesterday from gap saying its ready for shipment. schneider barrel, badger ordnance brake, jewell trigger, on templar v2 action. I've got everything for loading, and I'm excited about developing loads, most of all trigger time.
Yep we all shoot 6.5 Creedmoor but none of us shoot Bergers. Bergers are over priced and offer no noticeable advantage for our game.

where do you guys go to shoot out past 800+? is there a place i can just drive to or hike to to shoot. i don't mind the ranges but they can get crowded. but that might just be me
I'm currently shooting 140 AMAX but will be switching to Barnes bullets soon.
We are currently shooting at the Nellis range. There are targets out to 900 yds there. Though, we bring our own targets for the match.

So I've got this far if any of the Vegas guys know anyone who has rem 700 L/A bottom metal I would be most great full
Your best bet is online. No stores that I know of carry items like that and if they did it would likely be short action.
