Ran about a case through this one today. Very pleased with this build. I was real hard on it today. I want to put this one through the paces and make it my main go to carbine.
The W.A.R. upper is amazing and is well worth the cost.
The PDQ really works well for mag swaps and malfunction drills.
As it sits it's right at 8lbs. It's balanced well and handles well.
This one took an H2 buffer and will be my first AR that keeps an H2 buffer in it.
Really thinking about painting this one. I'll add a forward grip and light to this one in a few days. Just waiting for the keymod rails I ordered.
Lots of fun. Only went to about 150 yards with it, but it was doing great. Most of that ammo was cheap stuff. I did run some of my hand loads to group and it did great. I doubt I'll try to work up a load for this one since it won't see that sort of use, but it hung out right under moa with my good stuff.
I am going to work up some of the 50gr Barnes to test. I've never been a fan of the lighter stuff, but some folks I trust are getting excellent results with those light Barnes bullets out of these short bbls so I'm going to try some for some hogs after some testing.
