I ran 100 virgin 30-06 over a sinclair expander mandrel (each shell up, twist, up again), then I attempted to turn them on my K&M neck turner, wouldn't twist over it and barely got on it. Tried it on my Hornady cutter mandrel and slipped right on.
measured K&M mandrel and it was .307, went and measured the Hornady mandrel and it was .304. measure the inside of the brass at .305-.306, so I'm getting springback after running over the expander mandrel.
Anneal and run over expander again?
thoughts, suggestions?
