Took my home built 45-100 double rifle to the local turkey shoot Sunday. Running Deer event decides to do one relay where you shoot twice at the deer target rolling down the wire. Cool, I got TWO barrels right here, bro. I found out why the old time elephant hunters advice was to pull the rear trigger first, so the recoil doesn't make your finger slip to the rear trigger when you pull the front..........guy running the shoot said it was the fastest two shots he's ever seen

Damn, and the one hole in the target was a solid 9. The second went into the trees. My shoulder is almost back to normal.......

I did that once with a 416 Rigby double rifle...but only ONCE!!! OUCH!! That is a lesson that is almost better learned the hard way because the negative reinforcement ensures 100% that you WON'T DO IT AGAIN!!
