Ive always been told to set your eye relief so that you have edge to edge picture (no black), but after reading and watching some videos i've heard of a technique that comes from the open sight shooters, and they say you should leave a small margin of black all around your scope view, so you know exactly where to put your head (forward, back, left, or right).

It makes sense to me because you will instantly know if your in the right position, sure you may loss a little field of view but thats why we have 56mm for right? ;)

Anyways, here the first video I heard this from: http://youtu.be/XJOaIKvRASs

What do you guys think about this technique?

i would say try and work on your fundamentals and your cheek weld and head placement before moving your scope and creating a crutch. just my fyi but what do i know.

I would've listened to her advice if she was wearing her two piece bikini on. But she's fully clothed, so for some reason I just can't understand the logic of it...:D

Thanks for sharing OP
