Leaving a rifle on its side

A lot of good responses. I’ve learned quite a bit over the last 3 days. Let’s recap, I’ve learned

1. some 4 letter words I didn’t know

2. the hide hates beginners, anyone without a mentor.

3. the barrel will warp under the weight of the scope, but the scope will not under the weight of the rifle.

4. some members are trying a new rifle storage arrangement, storing them anally based on some of the responses.

5. this forum section is about as technical as the GD of AR15.

I appreciate anyone who gave constructive responses.
At least you can see the humor and are not all fucking pussy safespace butthurt.
Obviously, we are just having fun at your expense and I am sure you have gleaned some actual advice.
Laying that rifle on any side, to include storing it with all the weight on the top turret cap is VERY unlikely to cause any issues, ever.

55 posts and we still don’t know if the OP had any issues with his rifle since he stores it on its side. I feel let down
