Lee die scratches on neck

Hey guys, so I get scratches on the necks of my cases (positive that its carbon buildup). I can clean it out, but after a few rounds it happens again.

My question isn't how to fix the issue, but does it affect accuracy?

What I was doing was just cleaning up the scratch marks with steel wool in the lee zip trim, cleaned em up after just a couple seconds.

Try some Flitz polish inside the die. It will smoothen it out, and may help to prevent anything from adhering to the surface, which may be transferring to your necks.

Polishing it will be pretty easy. I'm just curious if those scratch marks on the cases will affect ballistic accuracy, or damage my chamber

I highly doubt that there will be any functional effect from some cosmetic damage. At the worst, it may over time damage the brass. As far as your chamber goes, steel is much harder than brass. It is unlikely that you will be able to do irreversible damage to the inside of your chamber with a piece of brass with light scratches. It only expands a few thousandths in the chamber when fired, so even though you are talking about pressures of 50K+, there is little momentum, and the steel can take it.
