Hi folks!
I had just bought some 122 grain Lehigh control chaos bullets for my 6.5CM CTR. So before I developed some loads I measured my OAL using the Hornady OAL Gauge except I used my own modified case from a fire formed brass. Turns out that if I seated the Lehigh to the mag length (2.950") I would have a bullet jump of 0.063" and more if seated deeper, of course. So has any of you guys tried the 122 with this kind of jump and if so, how are your groups? I heard couple guys weren't getting these to shoot right but found out too late cuz the bullets were shipped. I've never had a jump this drastic before and according to Lehigh says these pills were designed for mag feed not singles. Sounds like I may have to single them if I need to seat these closer to lands. Throw me your opinions and suggestions. Thanks shooters!
