What is the best thing to use to cover the lens on your scope so when the sun hits it it wont reflect the light or flash.

Midway sells ARD's in vrious sizes, but they do dim the scope down.
Maybe the best is to stretch some pantyhose over the objective and leave it at that.

Was watching Top Sniper on Netflix and was surprised to see one of the instructors from Ft. Benning instruct a couple of the competitors to build a "birds nest" for black hole disease. He then proceeded to grab a handful of elephant grass, bend it in half and stuff it in the objective of the guys scope. Claims it's almost invisible to the user. Bet it cuts down on light transmission though.
