Obviously he's afraid of the repercussions of using force. This could have been the end of him if this individual had had a knife in the hole and decided to stick him. Secondly his hand to hand skills looked terrible. He barely survived an obviously untrained teenager who looked to be an average sized young man. Not a 6-5" prison muscled recently released convict. Due to being out of shape or lack of good training, this officer was minimally effective with respect to his ability to physically apprehend the guy. If the persecution of cops continues by their own DA's then we will see the worse outcomes happen a lot as the bad guys figure out the police are fighting with one hand tied. Karma is a bitch and I hope the guy taking the video experiences it some day with respect to first responders.

Cops get minimal hand to hand training. The average 2 stripe white belt from a semi competitive BJJ gym could PWN the average cop.

Damn, that is some kind of fucked up.
Cop bit off more than he could chew and should have had some backup before contacting that person.
Cop should be very happy that the Homies didn't get in there and help their Bro and were just recording it and laughing.
The Officer seems to be lacking in hand to hand training and it is hard to tell with all of the body armor they wear nowdays, with just cause, but the Officer looks to be a bit out of shape and lacking body strength, but going against a young yute that is stronger than him.
He should be thankful that none of the bystanders got involved or he would be in deep shit. I wonder if it is staged?

I would have busted caps on the yute early on, but let's defund the Police. Officer will probably get early retirement from this and maybe that is what is going on?

There is no way that I would be a LEO in this day and age. I would shoot first and ask questions later and I know that that won't float the boat today.
