Do any of you guys own a Leofoto rifle clamp? If so, what do you think of it? I can only find a handful of reviews but they all seem excellent. I just wanted to hear what you guys think about it. Thanks!

same, I was looking at a vortex radian, but since learning its just a leofoto I'm leaning toward the leofoto with the MA-30 head. As of now I don't see myself using the tripod a ton so would like to dip my toe in with the leofoto.

One of my buddies got one, it was pretty loose and squeaky during adjustments compared to the RRS Vyce I have. It held the gun fine...but the RRS is a much nicer part looking at them side by side. You can gradually release the RRS since it adjusts a lot smoother, where the Leofoto kind of bound up and dumped all the tension at once. Visually they looked to use the same mechanism and I'm sure Leofoto tried to copy the dimensions of the parts they copied 1:1, but quality matters.

I elected not to cheap out with $15K of stuff clamped to it 5ft in the air.

I bought my Leofoto tripod before I knew that they were stealing their designs from hard working Americans. Won’t do it again. Like what’s happened to the US the last two years? Buy Leofoto and keep supporting the Chinese.

I honestly don't understand why anyone would buy a Leofoto "rifle clamp"? It's a direct copy of the RRS Vise which itself is RRS's take on Shadowtech's Pig and Hog Saddles. A Pig Saddle is actually less expensive than the chicom Leofoto product yet is manufactured in the US. I mean, I get buying Leofoto tripod legs if that's what fits your budget (and you're ok with zero warranty support when they fail and they will) but the stuff that they have that are exact copies of domestic stuff? Save a few bucks and buy a Pig Saddle instead of supporting garbage commie companies.
