I used a 2 piece Leofoto tripod at a match a couple months ago and been wanting to get one since. I’m unfamiliar with that head, would that work for binos or is that more for mounting a rifle?

When I used it, I also used an optics rail with a ball head, but I slapped my binos on it and did a range of motion test and they would work very well for just binos. You tighten / losen the head by twisting the column underneath the pinnacle of the tripod.

I also forgot I have the plate with a threaded stud for using just a ball head as well.
