Hey guys, new to the forum (but been reading lots of posts lately).
For any MA members out here, I recently found out about the Winter Rifle competitions at Leominster Sportsman Club. They are held every Sunday Dec - March from 9:00 - 11:00. Any rifle, caliber, sights, can be used. Entry is $5 (half of which goes to a charity, I believe). 100-yrd offhand, small bore rifle targets.
I went to the first one this month and had a great time (my first competition setting and third time firing a rifle). Unfortunately, I've had to miss the last one and will miss this upcoming one. It's a very laid-back "competition" and am using it to gauge my improvement (or lack thereof) with a rifle.
Did I mention the structure you fire from is heated?
