Just curious, does anyone know whose barrel blanks Les Baer AR's use? Or are they completely in house manufactured barrels? Seems like they shoot pretty danged good from what I seen't..

I have four LES Baer MAtch ARs and all but the 308 shoot lights out. The 308 is. One moa gun but does not come close to the 223, 6.5 Grendel or 204 ...don't know why, has to be not getting consistent lock up. I've never seen an AR more consistently curate then his custom ARs....

A shooting buddy of mine tried 2 LB .308 barrels and worked hard for just barely moa. He thought it was a gun problem. He bought a Criterion and with no other changes to the gun his groups went to .5 moa with several different loads. He switched back to the LB barrels again and still had no luck. LB told him it was basically his own fault - reloading ability, shooting ability, the usual - and offered no other help. He sold them both - cheap - and has since bought another Criterion for his other AR and it is a .5 moa or better performer also. I've never tried Criterion but they seem to be very good. He told me he'd never deal with LB again after that experience. FWIW
I sent one of the guns back to LES ,6.5 Grendel, and he send it back with two sub.5 5 shot groups. I struggled to get close to an inch but have to believe it is technique. An AR follow through is totally different then with a bolt action. There are too many positive reviews from knowledgeable sources, for his guns not to shoot well with most reviewers praising the accuracy...
