Lets have a discussion on magazines for bolt guns.

So I am running an MPA chassis. I have to AI 5 round magazines. Their load length is somewhere around 2,70. I have an MDT and it is at 2.90


Is there any mag with a longer load length that is quality.

Are you sure on that 2.70 for the AI mag? That seems really short, like shorter than nominal COAL for 308win.

May want to look into Accurate mag. I believe it is around 2.92.

I just measure the 2 AICS 5 round mags that I have at 2.89.

Accu-Mag and AICIS are interchangable. I think you will find what you need with the #40 Accurate Mag

Accurate Mag or MDT without binder plate 2.955ish

If you're rocking mags without binder plates, you want to make sure your cartridges won't be nosing under the feed ramp.
