I figure the GAP, JP and other well-loved, esoteric gasser aficionados have
already sat around a fire or kicked back in a leather chair and pontificated
this or similar questions.

hmm, LAPUA, Nosler, Hornady or LC... 5.56/.223 or 7.62/.308. hmm...
