The UPS guy just dropped this scope off,

Leupold FireDot SPR 1.5-4x 20mm

I haven't gotten into the manual yet, but it's small and light, nice glass, reticle looks very usable (SFP)

Compared to the NF 2.5-10x I had on hand ... more to come

Yes, it is

I haven't getting into the specs yet, but I have tried it outside by request and it is a Daylight Visible Green LED dot.

With the 1" tube could you try some low light (no pun intended) testing to see how it does on the light gathering?

Interesting that you got one of these instead of the VX-R Partol.

I wish Leupold would get away from that type of illumination. It makes the reticles grossly thick.

Honestly I didn't know it was coming so there was really option for the VX-R Patrol.
