Leupold Golden Ring 20-60x80 Spotting Scope Review

Hey guys,

I am still looking at spotters. I think I have my selection narrowed down to the Leupold Gold Ring. Basically this spotter would be used from everything from shooting paper at long range to glassing critters from the road.

Has anyone used the 20-60x80 spotting scope and can give me a field review on it?

Another thought is go with the 12-40x60 Golden Ring. Is it worth the $400 to go from the 12-40 to the 20-60?

So I like it, but to be honest with you, for what I need, the 80 is no better than the 60. Unless your doing a lot of low light shooting I'd save my money, or if you want to spend it, buy a mk4 with the reticle in it.
