Wondering if anyone here have first hand knowledge of using a Leupold Goldring Spotting scope 10-30X50 to see rimfire 22lr bullet holes to 100 yds max. Just wondering if it has the power at that distance. I already own a Nikon Fieldscope 20-75X82 but just wanting something smaller for 100 yds. Any information is greatly appreciated.

You asked about the Golden Ring 10-30X 50 - do you mean the Golden Ring 10-20X 40 (Compact) or the Golden Ring 15-30X 50 (Compact)? I neither own nor have I looked through a Golden Ring 10-30X 50. I do own and have been using a Golden Ring 15-30X 50 (Compact) for several years. Mine is the older, Black rubber armored as opposed to the current Dark Earth/Brown rubber armored. Its' a great little scope for it's size. Unless its raining, overcast, or otherwise dark or I can easily see .22 size holes at 100 with my 45 year-old eyes. I just wish it came in an angled model.

No problem, glad I could help. One thing I should point-out is that the eye relief is a little short, but I still manage wearing glasses.
