Ok so I was looking at getting the turrets on my MK4 converted to the M5 (milrad) turrets.... Looking on Leupold's website for info I see that they are calling them 1/10 MOA! So what is it?? Any one get a new MK4 with the M5 turrets?

Re: Leupold M5 turrets???

They're 1/10 mil... must have got lost in translation somewhere between the actual product and whoever does the website. They're available on new scopes only for now. Retrofits won't be available until next year sometime... last time I talked to them anyway (which wasn't too long ago)...

Re: Leupold M5 turrets???

Are these the turrets that have a button that needs to be pushed before they can be rotated? I was reading something about a new scope they are coming out with that has a button on the top of the turret.

Mike,
Does the windage knob work from zero left to right? It looks like it does in the picture. Also is the elevation knob complete its rev at 5 mils? That would certainly make counting revs pretty easy. I am thinking about ordering a couple of these. One more question.......what do you think of the Horus H-37 reticle? It looks cluttered to me, but in the same sentence I think it looks useful, especially on a FFP.

Sorry for hijacking the thread.

The windage does work from zero in both directions, it's that way on all the leupys I've ever messed with. They still need to catch up and offer illumination with the FFP stuff though.

This is basically the same info I was provided...more or less that they were dedicating all M5 turrets to new scope production and could not not estimate when they would be in a position to offer the upgrade/swap on the M1 turrets.

Re: Leupold M5 turrets???

Thanks for the info gents. I had talked with several reps at the shot show in Vegas, (they had been thinking mid May to start retrofits) guess thats not the case.... May just be better off getting a new scope as a whole.

You did not Hijack the thread it is all the same subject.

The wind-age is going left to rings goes from 0 to 0.5 and yes the elevation is 5mil per REV.

I’m not a fan of the Horus but there are a lot of guys like it. It is to busy for me personally.
