Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4 (M1,M2,M3)

Re: Leupold Mark 4 (M1,M2,M3)

I have M1's... in 1/4 MOA clicks.
It's 15 MOA per turn, which is reasonable. I've only ever once left it wound up and returned it to the closest 0, leaving me shooting a full 15 MOA above my POA..

The BDC would be nice (quicker but less precise), if you had your rifle exactly where you wanted it. with a consistant load, muzzle velocity and it was going to stay then I would probably look at going down this road.

I was in a rush to get it put together but if I had my time again I would of saved more and ordered a USO with an EREK knob calibrated in Mils.

I really haven't had any issues with Leupold, their customer support has been good for me and I'm very happy with the product so far (2 years on).

I'm a firm believer that you should do it RIGHT the first time. OPTICS aren't something you want to skimp on.

I LOVE their M3 scope, just LOVE IT!!! Quicker to get on target, no fooling around counting revolutions to get on target. No going under your zero because of the zero stop. Only downside is that it SOMEWHAT less precise in pinpoint adjustments. It's precise enough for L.E. work....

I know Leupolds getting a bashing on the hide right now, but I have never really like them until recently. Their lower power offering in the M2 knobs work fine for me.

M1 knobs never worked for me, M3's seem too coarse, the M2's are the piggy in the middle.

I'd never get a high magnification Leupold, they seem to cloud up on anything past 14x.
