Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark AR question

Ok, so I picked up a 1.5-4x20 for my nephew. Its a Duplex reticle with no BDC, seems pretty solid for a $279 scope. Taking him to the range tomorrow afternoon to sight it in. My question is regarding the turrets, how do you reset zero with it after sighting it in? It doesn't have any set screws, and I am figuring there must be a simple solution I am missing. The instructions are vague at best, and I haven't been able to find jack on the web. Any help would be appreciated.

If it has the BDC knob then it is set via a pair of small allen, they should be near the top of the turret.

Its a non-BDC, the only thing I can see is what looks like a brass snap ring around the base of the turret. It doesn't have any allen screws on it at all.

You may not be able to reset them then.

you can slide the gold snap ring around so the V notch opening is at the number 0. Use the tip of a small screw driver or maybe your thumbnail.
