Leupold Mark IMS

So am looking at the Leupold IMS 35mm bolt action mount pretty closely right now, I might want to switch Mark5 HD into one. Anyone has one or has had any experience with one? Just curious what the community thinks. The Mark5 is currently sitting on a Spuhr.

I have one. It's a scope mount, 20 moa cant. Rings with screws to hold the scope. Large cross bolts to attach the mount to a pic rail. Not really that much to it. Torque to spec and it stays where it is supposed to stay, and so does the scope. Why are you considering replacing the spuhr? What do you think the IMS mount does that the spuhr does not? I bought mine because it was more budget friendly than the alternatives- I'm looking at you spuhr...

Lets just say am one of those brand whores that like to keep everything the same brand. The spuhr is lovely I own two of them actually and as you say they hold stuff and they hold it well. I was just wondering about the leupold IMS see what people thought. The spuhr actually came with the scope when I bought it (used) and to be honest till then I had never seen, heard or had a spuhr.

Just keep the spur. No reason to fix what isn't broken.
