I have a Leupold Mk4 M3 10x40 and when mounted to the rifle via a 0 MOA rail with medium height rings the elevation drum is nearly bottomed out(3-4 clicks) when the rifle(Rem 700/ Savage M10) is zero'd at 100 yes.
On an M1a with an a.r.m.s. #18 mount ant the same medium rings the elevation bottoms out at a 200 yd zero.
On an AR 15 with a Stoner 0 MOA mount it has 8 clicks to spare before bottoming out.
Is this normal for this scope? Leupold is telling me it is but it strikes me as being odd.
And BTW, I removed the range drum to do any zeroing so it's not the zero stop that's causing the alleged issue.
