I've got an older Mk4 3.5-10x40 with M3 turrets. I recently acquired it and it seems to have a zero stop, maybe? From what I've read it's probably not likely, but when you turn the elevation turret to zero you can not go below that. You can go up, but not down/past zero.

Is this a normal deal, something wrong with it? Zero stop? Help me out.

Thanks,
Kyle

Do you mean that it limits me? Seems like it would be a good thing, but are you saying you should be able to go back another revolution?

No, it is a good thing, there is no reason to go down below your zero. High number turrets and zero stops make it so everything is easier and faster under stress.

I was just mentioning that they had this set up before it more recently became popular. Some people have been wary of it by thinking/reading it would only let you be within 1 MOA of ideal point of aim instead of the actual - within .5 MOA
