I am interested in first hand knowledge and opinions of the new-ish MK5 5-25 from Leupold. Seems like a great value with good reticle choices and features like locking elevation with second and 3rd rev indicators, lots of travel and light weight. I got the opportunity to handle one yesterday in the shop and thought the turrets felt great but could not test much else.

So now that these have been out for a bit how are they holding up? Do they track well? Any issues so far? Seriously thinking about adding one to my quiver but I don't know much about them.

For reference i currently own a Razor gen2 4.5-27 which i love (other than the color), Nightforce 7-35 ATACR (not a fan of my reticle but great scope), a NF 5.5-22 NXS and a couple SWFA products but never owned a Leupold.

I've got one with the tremor3. For what it's worth I'm buying a second one in 3.6-18 today. I just finished up a build and honestly glass qasnt even much of a thought. I pretty much knew it would get the mark5.

No issues here what so ever. Everything works and feels great. I've tested on steel out to 800 and I can hold, or dial exactly my hold and either way impacts are in the same spot. I haven't done a tall target type of tracking test, but again, dialing exactly my hold on targets ranging out to 800m I've been spot on.

I think for the price(my opinion at least) there wasnt another option that would get me the same quality, definitely not with the reticle I wanted.

Have one with the CCH. Absolutely fantastic value; very easy to get behind. If there's one bitch, its that leupold seems to want to put a premium on illumination. All things considered to me it's a fantastic precision rifle scope. I'll be purchasing another 5-25 cch for my elr build I'm doing and hopefully eventually getting a 3-18 illuminated TMR for my coyote rifle.
