Really, it's a magnificent reticle, sort of like a horus christmas tree with the MIL horus style retile lit at the mil marks.

This is one I cant WAIT to get some feild time with at long range. Better pics to follow in a TGR review.

Available June this year.

looks interesting, but for the size and weight and the distances that I shoot the Mk 6 line fits the bill perfectly.

Appears to be an H58.

How is the mag ring on this Scope? Do you have to turn it a whole bunch like a Premier or is just a little bit like older Leupolds... For instance going from say 3.5 to 25 power. I may look into getting a lupy 3-18 or this one if the mag ring is better than the Premier or S&B. I am not a glass nazi I just care for functionality.

It is. If you look closely you can read it on the objective.

So today we got some exclusive interview time with the director of their tactical division; who gave us a two video reviews, one of the Mk8 3.5-25 and the two Mk6 pieces, the 3-18 and the 1-6.

Guys, imagine the same optical quality and bright illumination and knobs of the $4K Mk8 CQBSS - but for $1500. I'm willing to bet a week's pay that this will be a game-changer for 3-gun.

Stay tuned for the HD video interviews of our SHOT show coverage here.

I was thinking the same thing. Either its really tiny or the mk8 is REALLY large.

(or a combo of the two, I suppose)

I hope someone can get their hands on these scopes soon for a review, I am looking at at least two of them if not all three by the end of the summer.
I've got a Knight's SR-15 that has been hankering for a 'short dot' type optic for about 18 months now and I was holding out for the SB 1-8 since I didn't want to drop the money for the Swaro without a real ranging reticle, But I think that the Mk6 will fit my niche perfectly (barring a poor review, of course). I am very happy to see that Leupold is coming out with so many interesting optics right now with what seems to be top grade glass and no military contract setting the pricing points to civilians? Last I had heard, this was the reason the CQBSS was priced beyond the stratosphere.

Love the locking adjustable knobs. I've had my M3 knobs move twice while stored in a scope cover. Just have to keep checking it before its needed.

Sounds like somebody at Leupold has been listening.

Gimme a couple of years to finish my current rifle and i'm feeling a GAP Gladius with a Mark 6 3-18x44mm. Would be a great compact package.

It will take a couple of years before you get to try it out on X-Box though.
