Rifle Scopes Leupold QRW rings?

Using them for what on your 308?? QR is always a dubious feature unless you really need to have such utility, like accessing your iron sights cause you had a optics failure in the field. And the W in the rings means they fit a Weaver base, which mean they will be a tad sloppy (on the small side) for fitment on a spec. 1913 railed base, if that's what they are mounted on.

Other than that they are certainly better than just OK, and since you already bought them, well......

It's the Quick and Detachable part that's the downside. Just think about if for a minute....then ask yourself what are the torque spec's for QD style rings?? There aren't any.... So how to you torque them exactly the same each and every time?? You don't, is the answer.

So if your not going to be taking your scope on and off, as an in field expedient, then you don't need QD rings....

Ok makes sense . I don't plan on talking it on & off, but what you're saying makes sense as far as torque specs especially. Not sure what I'll do. The Warnes are just a bit tall that I have on there. Decisions, decisions!
