Rifle Scopes Leupold spotter camera adapter

Has anyone used the Leupold digital camera adapter on the 12-40x60 spotter? I'm wondering how good it is?

Got the Kit but it doesn't fit my camera. Gonna try and find one that it'll fit.

I have a Nikon Coolpix S630 and a Canon Powershot S2 IS. Anyone know if it'll work with these two? I'd like to use the Nikon because it's a 12megapixal. Althought I don't know how the adapter would fit onto the camera because the lens retracts into the camera when turned off.
