Looking for a new pair of binos close to $350 but might spend $500 for general glassing and possibly some hunting. All I have now are $60 Brunton pair. I found the Loopys at Optics Planet for $550 w/ TMR and they peaked my interest. Not sure if I would use the TMR in a bino. Search found nothing even though I know have seen posts about them. If you own them or have used them what are the hits and misses please.

Thanks

If member USSR is still around you might check in with him. He used to have line on Russian binos with 2.5 MIL rets, individual focus, 7/8 power and decent glass for @ $125.00

I know it doesn't answer your Loopy question but these were good deals.

Good luck

I have that exact model you are looking for. It is extremely bright and clear. The reticle is really small though and when you look into the binos the TMR is essentially useless when it is < 100 yds. There is no way to increase the size of the reticle so you might be better off not getting it. I think having it on their spotting scope because its FFP and probably will be more useful there. Again it is really clear and you can see holes all the way to 200 yds and can see See More targets up to 400 yds. It would be great choice for binos. It is really durable and the rubber housing gives a great grip and is pretty light. Good luck.

CDNN Investments has a great sale on 8x32 and 10x32 Leupold Gold Ring series and Kahles 8-32 Binoculars. Check them out

I have the leupold MKIV coyote tan bino's, I got them without the mildot or tmr reticle, and just use them to beat around, they are alright, the glass is not bad at all and definately do well for the money, a good investment yes, but there are better out there, maybe not for the $$$, but i do plan on upgrading to leica when i quit buying guns.
