I was looking through a catalog today at somw MARK IV scopes and seen one that the turrents were marked M4, I know what M1,M2,M3 and M5 turrents are but never hread of M4. Did not see any on leupolds web site either.

You mean discontinued? I have a 4.5-14x50 that's turrets labeled 0.5cm but an email from Leupold and they classified them the M4 turrets.

Yes the discontinued it. Some of the F-Class shooters that use MIL RETs have asked about getting them back.
It's not bad very similar to 1/8th moa adjustments but can get old cranking the knobs. I use the scope on a hunting rifle that adjustments aren't needed much on.
