Rifle Scopes Leupold VX-5 3-15x44 HTMR

Anyone have any experience with the Leupold vx-5 3-15x44 HTMR? I’m going back to SFP scopes because my eyes aren’t what they used to be and think this might fit the bill on my 6.5x47 .

The VX5hd is pretty good glass for the money, FOV is good and the ZL turret is great.
A mate just bought this exact VX5, he said the reticle is pretty well sized for a hunting scope, being thin ish but not stupid thin, I have a 3-15 with the Impact 29 reticle and find it is to thin for a hunting scope.

For a SFP cross over scope I think this scope would work well.
