Rifle Scopes Leupold VX3L

I was asked this question and don't know the answer.Do I need a 20moa base to get to 1000yrds with a 6.5 grendal with this scope?The scope has a total of 90 moa travel.AR 15 platform with a 18 1/2 barrel using wolf 123gr.Thanks
