Any thoughts, opinions and/or experience with this one? I love the specs compared to price but would like your help. Did a search here too but no results. Yeah I'm building my LR.308 type and am going crazy about the optics options.

Edit: and in the specs sheet of the SWFA page for this scope field of view is not 223 ft it's 114.5 ft, they typo'd I guess.

I was able to play around with this scope and some of the other VX6 models and they are fantastic. I was always a fan of teh VX3's and this new VX6 line with the the 6x magnification range is awesome. True to Leupold quality you're getting great glass and a solid turret system. I know it will be a big bump in price, but I also had some time with teh Mk 6 line and that blew me away. Their new turret change system will be a huge change for the optic world. So user friendly. Leupold's new Mk6's and Mk 8 were some of the best products at SHOT this year.

Yep, Mark 6!! Should be out around mid year. Not on their site yet but they do have some specs in the new 2012 Leupold Tactical catalog.
