Rifle Scopes Leupold vxiii 3.5-10x50 tactical 1" tube

Really depends on a few variables: which rifle, your goal, and price

The VXIII is/was a solid line for Leupold about 6-8 years ago, since then there have been advances in lens coatings and many of the entry level scopes have the same "Multicoat 4" , as well as the addition of extended twilight, diamond coat and further index matching

The VXIII Tac was a duplex reticle with tall 1/4 moa capped turrets and AO parallax adjustments, Aesthetically and ergonomically not my preference on a field/ quick acquisition rifle.

If you are putting this on a rifle in which you plan to shoot from a bench or fixed positions, and the price is right (say $300-$400) Id say "maybe" Just that the used VX3 with CDS is similar in price point and will be a better choice. (as is a super sniper, or Weaver Tactical)

If you want a great scope from that era the VariX-III LR/T 3.5-10x40, M3, Premier FFP is a damn fine scope. They are going for approx $600-$700 on the secondary market. They were the predecessor to the MK4.
