Light Mounting

I'm in Alaska where I can hunt at night with a light for predators under a trapping license. My AR's are easy to mount a light on, and it works slick. Been looking for options on my bolt gun build to be able to do it. The Badger EFR looks viable to mount it on the side rail, but is more than I would need for that purpose. Any other good options? I don't want it mounted on the scope rings, etc. Can I have Manners put a rail on the right side of the forend?

Re: Light Mounting

Surgeon makes a rail that mounts on the scope base, but it's heavy. Mounting a light parallel to your bore on a bolt gun has been my problem for years. The solution that works the best is a chassis - nearly all of them have provision for light mounts. Rock Solid and KRG or JAE being top of my list.
