I just bought a light for my M4 and have it on the quad rail left side(right handed)it comes with a pressure sensitive off/on switch. What are the pro cons of using the switch as compaired to just thumbing it on? Where to most of you all mount the switch. I have a broom handle front grip.

Re: light

The pro is comfort if its uncomfortable to activate directly the con is more things stuck on your rifle. If you can activate it comfortably without the pressure switch why bother.

Re: light

I was thinking about that it's comfortable enough but there's no cut off for the switch. You grab the grip and it's on. Maybe not a good thing. "Takes a nano second to thumb the light on. Think I'll leave it off.
