I know the mcrees with the folding option is 4.4 lbs, i think the xlr with folding option is 4.3 lbs. I could be wrong about the xlr.

If weight is a concern, ask for the Standard buttstock instead of the Tactical. It's just as comfortable and adjustable(better looking too, IMO) but considerably lighter than the Tactical.

I'm a fan of the KRG W3C, but maybe have a look at the Eberlestock M11 Chassis System.

What's your budget and do you need a top rail?
XLR is a great choice.
Eberlestock stealth and Manners MCS-TF also come to mind for lighter stocks.
Even if they're heavier I like the AICS and Cadex stocks too.

Isn't there a carbon lightweight model of the XLR?
I don't see it on the website but I remember seeing one with a lightweight action block and a carbon fiber hand guard.

I recall the Eberlestock being advertised at 2.5lb which is pretty light if that's the true "fighting weight"
I forget what the Ashbury Prec. Ord stock came in at for the lightweight hunting version but it was very light and like the other stuff that APO makes, it is pretty damn nice. $$$ but really nice.
