I've recently been putting together some "lightweight" items for packing to/from a ground blind for the upcoming deer season. Built up a new rifle that's kinda light, and now working on a short tripod. Found this little guy on Amazon and just rigged up a Col-Tac Bitty bag to mount directly to the ball head. Not looking for the utmost in stability, as potential shots won't be that far, but wanted to try to make this light and compact.....and surprisingly.....it's pretty stable.
