little fun rocking the AR500 with the semi autos :)

Hey Elfster, I watched your reloading videos. Thank you very much for making and posting them. I sure learned a lot! I have a couple of questions though. Would I need a small base .223 die for an AR or would a regular Redding full length die be the way to go? What's a good powder and bullet for accuracy with a .223?

Most new AR’s don’t need small based dies. I’ve never had the need for one and if it’s not a relic then I wouldn’t worry about it. If ya needed one on a newer semi auto then I’d be more worry about the chamber. Many that think they need small based dies I find are not using bump gauges and not bumping the headspace at all... reload for your chamber. Not a case gauge as in my video series = will produce precision rounds for your semi auto
