well the rifle is all most done and I picked out my scope but before I order it I wanted to order the rings with it.
the scope is a Bushnell Elite Tactical 4.5-30x50 G2 Riflescope ET45305GZ
the rifle is a Remington 700 SA 308 in a AX stock with the AI 20 moa base and a 20 moa forearm base
so I know I need a 34mm size ring but i'm not sure what size over all for height to get and all so what brand
I hear a lot about badger
so any input would be very helpful
thanks
Dave

I'm flying without a net here, as I have neither your stock nor your scope in front of me, but by your description you have a full length 20 MOA rail on the forearm section that's the same height as your AI 20 MOA base, is that correct?

If so, the bell has to clear that front rail. The front Objective OD diameter of that particular scope is listed (according to the #43 Objective BC Covers) as 58.7MM or 2.310". Taking half the height 1.155". That would mean a ring like Badgers #306-27 34mm High's @ 1.275"

This is a gross measurement, as the next size down Badgers 34MM Mediums #306-63 are 1.125" high appear to be just a hair too low.

I would confirm with Bushnell or someone who owns one or the vendor you bought it from, to confirm the actual Outside Diameter of your objective bell, and go from there....
