I was able to purchase the last lmt mws 6.5 barrel on brownells a couple days ago. Unfortunately when it arrived the barrel sleeve was pressed together so hard that the gas tube went through the 2" foam protector that the barrel extension sits on and through the plastic container as well. The gas tube is also bent downwards as well.
I really don't want to send it back as I can't seem to find these barrels readily available anywhere.
My question is, does anyone know if these gas tubes are a straight rifle length or are the proprietary like knights Armament length wise?
I've tried to contact lmt and haven't heard from them at all, I'm sure this covid bs is holding up the response times.
