LMT Mars-H 7.62x51 ammo recommendations?

Just got it two weeks ago and while I'm waiting for the optic, I wanted to stock up on some quality ammo. Any recommendations?

I run FGMM 175’s through mine exclusively.
I’ve got the 1:11.25” twist stainless barrel.

I would pick up 3 or 4 boxes of different ammo and see how they shoot. FGGM generally shoots really good, Hornady stuff is is really good to. Once you. Personally, I would go for FGGM or Hornady American Gunner match if i am not going to load for it.

Fed GMM in 168 grain and 175s. See which one gun like better but you should be sub MOA with both.

Yes, Sorry. GMM stands for Gold Medal Match. The bullet they use is the Sierra MatchKing.

Fusion 150 is also a great factory load if you're looking at terminal ballistics and not external ballistics.

If you're looking for some good range ammo that might be less expensive, I've had good luck with the 308 168gr PPU Match Line ammo.

Prior to the shortage, I was able to find it for $12.60 per box of 20.

Here are the chronograph results out of my 20 inch stainless steel barrel (LM308B220S).

Whatever shoots good out of your rifle...sometimes you have to mess with loads...your usual suspects will do fine...heck my old MWS shot regular M80 ball well enough where I didnt care to shoot match...

Norma tactical FMj 150gr shoots really well for me. I was surprised.

but yes FGMM 168 or 175 is a must.

When it comes to factory ammo I settled on Hornady #8105. It's typically loaded with Varget (Hornady will tell you that) and their 178 hpbt. It's been very accurate across the board with various rifles we use.
