LMT MWS barrel threads....

I was going to put my AAC Cyclone on my brand new MWS today but I found something odd.

The threads on the MWS don't have a thread relief cut near the shoulder. The can screws on tight but it does not cinch against the shoulder (a gap can be seen).

Is it safe to shoot it like this? Or should I have a thread relief cut?

You may just need a shim. I think LMT also threads the barrel a bit too long for some devices.

How long is the threading? It may be safer to send the barrel off and have the threads matched to your suppressor specs.
