I just got some 60 grain balistic tip bullets in 22 cal and cant find any load data for them. I sent nosler a message and waiting for a reply. Has anyone load them yet.
While it's for the Spitzer, you will usually find their data puts the rounds somewhere within around 1-2 MOA of each other. When you get right down to it, all published load data really becomes a ballpark estimate anyway. I would never use any blindly, without testing and tweaking for the individual bore.
They shoot awesome out of my carbine - I am running 25.6 gr of RL-15 under them out of LC brass. That is over listed max in some relading data, but shows no signs of pressure in my gun. I have shot a number of groups from 0.6 to 0.75 MOA with that load out of that gun. As with all reloads - work up to it and watch closely for signs of pressure.
Ive been loking to reload them, do they have a cannelure?
Since ive been unable to find them ive been using the sierra 60 gr hollow point. 24.5 gr of Tac was sub moa @ 100, since im out of Tac now I loaded up some with benchmark but havent test fired them. The corn got too high before I could.
