Load for 300 Win Mag 700P

What are some good loads for the 700P 300 Win Mag i.e. bullet, powder, and oal combinations for 1100-1500 yards? I've just purchased the rifle and my first worked up load was with 71.1 grains of reloader 22 and berger 210s 5/1000 into the lands. The muzzle velocity extremes were not acceptable for the Re-22 and I would have liked to have gotten a higher average muzzle velocity as well. I now have some H-1000 on hand, but I am open to try anything. Obviously, I will be doing a safe load work up. Thanks for any suggestions.

My current pet load is:

Win brass
220gr SMK
Rem 9 1/2M primers ( I had some on the shelf so that is what I used)

71.5gr H1000
seated .005 jump to lands.

That load makes about 2820fps at the muzzle out of my 26" 1:10 twist bbl.

At the 1000yd line, I'm up 28.5 moa at 500' above sea level from a 100yd zero and it goes subsonic about 1560yds or so.

I could make the load hotter and go to a higher accuracy node but, it's a good trade off in my rifle in that, it doesn't tear the brass up too bad at that velocity so, that's what I've been using.

The a-max is better but, I've had a hell of a time finding projectiles until a week or so ago and, I haven't worked up that load yet but, I'm really looking forward to it.

My a-max load will be worked up using retumbo, I believe.

WOW, that load looks HOT to me but, everybody's rifle is different.

My current AMAX load is 72.gr of H1000 jammed .010 and, it makes the 1000yd line 28.5 MOA up from a 100yd zero.... I didn't crono it but, JBM said it had to be going about 2800fps.

I may go to a higher accuracy node but honestly, I don't see why I should burn the barrel and brass to make it there if this load shoots really well and will make 1500 easily.

That is indeed a lot of H1000 in a 300WM case. I wouldn't put that load up without some warnings and disclaimers.

The best load I've found for my heavy barreled 300win is 69.5 IMR4350, rem brass, 190SMK, CCI mag and can't remember COAL offhand but probably book length. It is about max pressure.

I'm shootin a 700P with 26'' barrel... my best load to date is
190 gr berger VLD
72.4 gr of RL-22
FGM215 primers
loaded to touching lands
winchester brass

just shot a .72'' 4 shot group at 200 yds with a stock gun.

Im reloading my factory 700p with

73gr h1000
cci magnum primers
berger 210gr bullets
oal is 3.575
My best 5 shot group so far is .446 @ 100 yards

Hodgdon manual lists 79.0C as max load for 200gr Nosler Partition and 78.0 as max load for Sierra 220gr.

My load is right at the top, but not necessarily over the top.

If I fill the case very slowly the load is not or is barely compressed.

The throat in the 700P barrel is REALLY long so my cartridge OAL is REALLY long - thus the bullet is not taking up that much case capacity.

Velocity is around 2850 and no signs of pressure, accuracy is good.

I worked this load up from 72 and found this to be an accurate load at a good velocity.
