Loading 6.5 for 100 and 200 yards

Im using a swede 6.5x55 and shoot a lot of matches from 200 meters to 500 meters at steel silhouettes . I find these hot dog loads do not seem to work very accurately at 100 or 200 yards . Im wondering if slowing lighter bullets than 140 grain would work or maybe even slow moving 160 grain round nose bullets .Any one have thoughts on this ? Arnie

140 amax may do the trick. Easy to load for and incredibly accurate and flat.
