I just got a smith and wesson m&p10. It is there new model ar in 308. It has a 18" barrel. I am wanting to know what bullets people have had good luck with. I have lapua brass for it and have ar-comp, varget, TAC and VV-n140 for powder choices. I am looking for one bullet to load that provides accurate results and good knock down power at range.
I like heavy bullets. I use 77 & 69 gr Sierra for my 1/7 twist 5.56. I find the heavy bullets do much better at 300 yards and beyond. I am new to the 308 ar so I am happy to hear what people have for tips as well.

That is the only brass I have been able to find in my area. On Lapua's website they say their brass can be ran through autos 10 shots and 20 shots for bolt action.
Any thoughts on using once fired PMC brass that I shot myself? That is what I got to shoot my first loads through. So I have abut 100 of those. I could use in a few days.
