Most of the .223 loads I read about are for bolt rifles. I saw the load data from Sierra specifically for ARs, but I am wondering if you guys would like to share your 77gr loads?

I have a brand new DPMS 24" stainless bull barrel 1:8" twist. I have 69gr and 77gr SMKs and 69gr Nosler Cust Comp slugs.

Recipes anyone?

Thanks!

24gr Varget or Re15 with 77SMK at 2.255 is a pretty standard load for XTC in an AR15. Obviously you'll want to fine tune to your rifle. The chamber you have makes a big difference. My CLE upper with its tight chamber needs lower loads. I use 23.8 gr Re15 for it with LC brass and CCI#41 primers.
